A half hourly timetable will operate between 09:30 hrs and about 17:30 hrs plus extra services for the Sunderland v Leeds game.
First Metro departs South Gosforth @ 09:35 arr Sunderland 10:11 then every half hour until 16:52.
Going the other way Metros depart Sunderland @ 10:40 every 30 mins until the last one at 17:10 (to Benton) with extra Footex’s at 17:15 17:23 17:34 17:41 and 17:51 going as far as South Gosforth.
In addition the following Buses run secured by Nexus between 10:00 and about 18:00 most hourly
319 Jarrow- Sunderland from 10:07 last return 17:55
E2 South Shields – Sunderland from 11:03 last return 17:48
E6 South Shields – Sunderland from 10:33 last return 18:18
35A South Shields – Hetton from 11:08 last return 17:43 ex S/land
35A Hetton – South Shields from 11:11 last return 17:30 ex S/land
3, 4 ,10/11 , 16, 18, 19 ,20, 23, 133, 135, 136 , 142, 222 (to East Rainton only) run locally within Sunderland.
