Sunderland fans attending the top-of-the-table clash against Ipswich Town at the Stadium of Light this weekend are to be entertained before the game by the sounds of Freddie Mercury sound-a-like Gary Mullen.
Gary, who won TV’s Stars In Their Eyes as the Queen frontman, is to perform in the centre circle of the Stadium of Light pitch at 12:30pm ahead of this vital game for the Black Cats. He will sing his repertoire of Queen favourites, including ‘Kind of Magic’, ‘One Vision’ and the anthemic ‘We Will Rock You’.
Gary will perform the full version of his highly acclaimed stage show ‘One Night of Queen’ at the Metro Arena, Newcastle on Wednesday 15th December 2004.
Tickets for Sunday’s big match are still available, in person from the Stadium of Light ticket office, on-line via www.safc.com or by calling the Ticket Hotline on 0191 551 5151.
Cash turnstiles will also be in on operation on the day, numbers 7, 8, 39, 40, 47, 48, 55, 56, 61, 63, 64 and 66.
Supporters are reminded that concessions will not be available on the turnstiles; however, the Stadium of Light ticket office will remain open until kick-off at 1:00pm.
