The venue for Brian Clough’s memorial service has been changed, in order to accommodate more people who want to pay their respects.
The service had been due to be held at Pride Park Stadium in Derby, but Mr Clough’s widow has asked for the switch to Derby Cathedral, to allow more people to attend.
Derby County’s chairman said “We are working with the staff of the Cathedral and Brian’s family to ensure the service is a fitting tribute to a man whose footballing achievements were truly remarkable.”
The service will be held at Derby Cathedral on Thursday 21st October, beginning at 7.30pm.
