Arca wanted by O’Neill?

October 10, 2004 by rtg

Sky Sports are reporting today that Celtic manager Martin O’Neill is watching Sunderland crowd favourite Julio Arca.

Arca’s current contract comes to an end in summer 2005 but he has been in discussions about a new contract since the end of July. SAFC management were initially optimistic that the player would agree new terms fairly quickly, but concern is mounting amongst supporters that the Argentininan has failed to sign on the dotted line, almost three months later.
