Two US-based footballers have joined Sunderland on trial.
Glenn Murray (striker) and Tim Karalexis (defender) both play for Wilmington Hammerheads, who Sunderland played on their recent pre-season tour of the US; their own domestic season came to an end recently, and they’ve come to Sunderland for two weeks on trial.
