Mr Beeby reffed our league match at home against West Ham in March which we won 2-0 – booking only Whitley for us, but SIX Hammers. He was also in charge during the away leg of the play-off semi finals against Crystal Palace, which we lost 3-2. On that occasion he showed the yellow card to Breen, Kyle, McAteer and Oster.
Assistant referees for the Chester match are Dave Birkett (Lincolnshire) and Nigel Murphy (Nottinghamshire).
For the home game against Crewe Alex, the man in the middle will be Eddie Evans of Greater Manchester and his stats for last season are as follows:
