Season tickets for the forthcoming Coca-Cola Football League Championship 2004/05 are now on general sale.
Sunderland’s aim is to storm its way back into the Premiership and whilst Mick McCarthy knows there is a lot of hard work ahead, he believes his team has the passion and determination to succeed.
The stage is set for an eventful and action packed season, with Mick and his men hoping to battle it out at the top of the table. The Black Cats face some tough competition with the likes of Leeds, Leicester and West Ham all hoping to fight their way back into England’s top division.
Mick said: “I’m really excited about the new season, I’m starting to get the buzz. We did well last season and are now determined to build and improve on this. We’ve brought in some good young players and together with our experienced pro’s I feel we’ve got a great squad, capable of going all the way.”
