SAFC will once again be offering its popular junior soccer courses throughout the summer holidays.
The Club, who this year became the first in the North East to be awarded the prestigious FA Charter Mark for its soccer schools, is holding a series of one and two day courses throughout the region, giving youngsters the opportunity to be coached by the experienced and qualified SAFC Foundation coaches.
The courses are open to both boys and girls and give youngsters the chance to work on their skills in a fun, friendly environment, with all children receiving a certificate for participation.
Bob Oates, SAFC Foundation Operations Director said: “It can often be difficult for parents to find exciting activities for youngsters – our courses offer boys and girls something different to do during the holidays. Our staff are fully qualified and ensure that the courses are both enjoyable and rewarding, whilst taking place in a safe and professional environment.”
Summer Course venues include:
Gateshead Stadium, Deerness Comprehensive School (Deerness Valley, Durham) Gilesgate Sports College (Durham), Horden Colliery Welfare Football Ground (Horden, Durham), Roseberry Comprehensive School (Chester-le-Street), St. Benet Biscop School (Bedlington) and Seaham Leisure Centre (Seaham)
