Sunderland Reserves will begin their 2004-2005 campaign with a trip to Birmingham City on August 11.
Jocky Scott’s side’s first home fixture is against Blackburn Rovers on August 18; and they face derby games against Middlesbrough and Newcastle in the first two months of the campaign.
Sunderland’s final match is against Aston Villa, last season’s Barclays Premiership Reserve League North champions. The Black Cats finished in 10th place last season.
