Sunderland will offer ladies-cut versions of their new Diadora kit when it is launched in August.
The Black Cats have signed a six-year deal with Italian sportswear manufacturer Diadora and the range will include a ladies’ department.
Sunderland have one of the highest percentages of female season ticket holders in the country and the new kit will consider their needs and body shapes.
The Diadora line, which will include replica kits and a training range, will be available to supporters from mid-July, with the new home kit going on sale on Saturday, August 7.
Further details of training wear and kit designs will be released later this month.
The new ladies’ home shirt is available in sizes 8-18 and can be pre-ordered from Friday, July 11 – at the same time as the men’s version.
