The club has issued a statement regarding the future of Julio Arca, hot on the heels of rumours surrounding a move.
Weekend press reports suggested that Baggies’ boss Gary Megson was set to offer £3m for our highly-rated Argentinian international.
But a statement from the club today confirms that negotiations with Arca and his representatives will open later this month, with a view to extending his current deal which expires next summer.
