As is now the annual tradition, Estonian and Finnish Sunderland supporters are organizing another match against Newcastle United supporters of Estonia and Finland. This year is the 3rd time the event will have taken place.
The match will be played on Saturday, June 12th in Põlva town. Kick-off time
will be around 5 or 6 PM.
The SAFC team is managed by Sunderland and Estonian heroic keeper Mart Poom.
As promised, SAFC team is getting some help from England (2 lads) and from Sweden (1 lad), but they are they are still on the lookout for several more players.
If there are any lads or lasses who are interested in playing football for “Sunderland” against “The Mags” now is a great chance to make your plans and visit Estonia and enjoy the local hospitality.
There are plans to gather on Friday, June 11th in Tallinn and watch Estonian
national football team (including Mart Poom) playing against FYR of
Macedonia.
After the match they will go to Põlva. On Saturday there will be THE match at FC Lootos Stadium and after match it’s party-time!
