Renewal packs will start to reach fans in early June with supporters being asked to sign up by June 30th.
SAFC are continuing to take steps to ensure that football at the Stadium of Light is affordable and have frozen season ticket prices for the fifth consecutive year. Prices start from as low as £95 for under 12’s, and £320 for adults sitting in concession areas.
Supporters renewing their season tickets by the 30 June deadline will again be given the chance to spread the cost by taking advantage of the club’s interest free payment scheme.
For those fans not wanting to take advantage of the interest free option, the club has a dedicated credit card renewal hotline for renewals. The line, 08700 11 22 66, is open from 9am to 7pm weekdays, 9am to 6pm on Saturday and 10am to 2pm on Sundays. There is a £1 credit card charge per season ticket for this service.
The club has maintained a number of season ticket holder benefits to ensure the most loyal fans are rewarded. They include providing every season ticket holder who buys before the deadline (June 30) with a free upgrade ticket to the Black Cats Bar for a game of their choice next season, savings of up to £189 against buying tickets on a match-to-match basis, as well as 4 quarterly issues of the Legion of Light magazine and priority for away match tickets.
Season ticket holders also ensure they receive priority and guaranteed tickets for highly sought after fixtures such as Cup games and attractive matches where tickets can be limited, as was the case in the last season.
Existing season ticket holders earn £20 worth of SAFC retail vouchers if they introduce a friend. So, any supporter who knows someone who wants to either buy their first ever season ticket or come back after a short absence, should put their friend’s new application in with their renewal application to receive their vouchers.
