Cardiff v SAFC – Police Advice

February 17, 2004 by rtg

South Wales Police are reminding Sunderland fans that Saturday’s match at Ninian Park is all-ticket for away supporters.

The police are advising Sunderland fans to travel directly to the ground and that parking is available in the Cardiff City Car Park on Sloper Road and the nearby Leckwith area (Cardiff Athletics Stadium).

Traffic wardens and police officers will issue fixed penalty notices to any illegally parked vehicles.

The police say that while they are not anticipating any problems, they will not tolerate any incidents of football-related violence and will respond appropriately to any such incident.
