Republic of Ireland manager Brian Kerr has named his squad to face Canada in a friendly at Lansdowne Road on Tuesday 18th November at 7.30pm, and both Gary Breen and Colin Healy are included.
Sunderland’s home match against Wigan three days prior to the Canada game has already been cancelled to allow for international call-ups.
Sean Thornton is included in Ireland’s U20’s squad for the World Youth Championships in the United Arab Emirates; they face Paraguay on Nov 19th then have group matches for the WYC on November 29 (vs Saudi Arabia), 2nd December (vs Ivory Coast) and 5th December (vs Mexico).
