Premiership new boys Wolverhampton Wanderers have confirmed this morning that they have made an official approach to Sunderland about taking defender Jody Craddock to Molineux.
Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey said “We haven’t spoken to the player yet, but I can confirm we would be interested if everything was to our satisfaction.
“We have had talks with Sunderland but nothing has been finalised.”
Craddock, 28, joined Sunderland in the summer of 1997 along with Kevin Phillips, coming from Cambridge Utd for £300,000 and has made 158 appearances for us.
