Gavin McCann today agreed terms with David O’Leary at Aston Villa and passed a medical there.
McCann has signed on a three year deal for a reported fee of £2.25 million, somewhat less than the £4.5 million we were asking, but in todays transfer market surely a good price.
McCann is expected to fly straight to Finland to join the Villa squad in their pre-season tour.
