Damn…the new nightmare cometh.

July 31, 2003 by rtg

Dear RTG

I am becoming dismayed at the type of player SAFC seem to be linked with. MM seems like a clone of Reid, in terms of the players he is attracted to,

ie plenty of huff and puff and little else.

I know the man is a pariah to many, but Keegan got both the Skunks and Man

City up by a combination of energy and flair.

As we all know there are a lot of players out there who have been released.

We end up with ( eventually )…………. Whitley. Be still my racing

pulse!

Meanwhile Arca is nowhere to be seen, Thornton is a sub, Piper is invisible. Kilbane and McAteer also are still gettin a go. Even dropping a division and

all that entails, and they still look less than average.

MM, also like Reid, doesnt fancy Craddock as a player, thus selling him dirt

cheap.

Kyle is also an MM favourite. Pardon me, but as long as there is a hole in

my bum, that guy will never be better than 3 rd division standard. Why bring Breen to the club when we already have his technical doppelganger

in Babb?

Hibs, Hearts and Huddersfield ( the 3 ‘H’ s ..spooky huh ) have exposed us

defensively and tactically and this worries me.

MM had had the squad for a while now, but it looks as if the team still

lacks guile and style.

I really do hope he can turn things around, but I doubt it. Another testing, frustrating and infuriating season ahead of us methinks.
