And we still came away from a tough fixture with a clean sheet and a deserved point
Did as well an Man Utd, Villa and Everton there already this season.
Who co-incidentally got a point when they came to us.
Bodes well. Patience, SB is building well.
Think with CB's fit the missing pieces are on the left side. The great thing is I just know that SB will know this
What does this mean?
Nzogbia for Richardson and Bramble and Turner back we will be fine like for top 9 finish.
Johnny Evans told to go out on loan again. He would be a good addition once Da Silva has departed
Agree on Nzogbia coming in, but would keep Richardson and play him at left back. We could do with a creative midfield player as well.
But not as good as Spurs.
I wouldnt expect us to be just yet.
What was the average age? An obvious question that no one appears to have asked.
Thank God you turned up then.
the answer to my question is....?
Nee idea mate, it was in Brucies email
23 I think,
Just got back from Fulham. You are easily pleased!
Three years running I have been to this fixture and I have yet to see us score.
The game bypassed Meyler - Zenden did more in ten minutes. In fact he did more after he was knocked out than Mayler managed.
Bent is looking more one-dimensional than ever - he won't be getting 25 goals this season. Time to make Gyan the main man and build the team around him.
Zenden should be starting every game - note his performances at Spurs and Chelsea.
didnt we win 3-1 year before last?
This year 0-0
Last year 1-0
the year before last - 0-0
and the year before that 1-3
Then you saw Richardson score a perfectly legitimate goal, the fact it wasn't given was down to the officials not the team
Give the lad a break, what do you expect after his first game back for months after a very severe injury
Since Bent came back we haven't played how we did when he was scoring, Bent is best facing goal and getting behind defenders, our build up play is much better now so we're more patient with the ball and it looks to have knocked his confidence having to drop deep to get some time on the ball
The lad scores goals and has done where ever he has been and if we have a chance with a striker through on goal there is no one I want more than Bent to be the player taking that shot
He's 34 and wont be able to play week in week out, he changed the game today and i'd like to see him get more time on the pitch but i'd rather we used him intelligently and had him at his best for the whole season rather than give him 90 minutes every week and watch him fizzle out in the second half of the season
