Worst corner taker who played for the lads?



I never like anfy reid's, floated in at two miles an hour. He could take the corner, the keeper could read war and peace, then still get up and catch the ball.

Yep with the passage of time andy reid is one of those players who gets better and better than he actually was .......for someone who on occasion scored a couple of very good goals from free kicks and shots from outside the box He was absolutely hopeless at corners ,he had two options ,hit the first man or the corner flag on the far side.

Pritchards deep breaths, hands on hips, taking an age building up loads of anticipation for him to hit the ball 2 foot off the floor and struggle to get to first man. Don't even mention his free kicks! Wow!

When local lad Wilfy Rostron came home and signed for us he immediately assumed corner-kicking duties. His corners were dog-shite for about two months until someone must've had a word in his ear. He was incapable of hitting the six yard box.
 
Pritchard by a fair bit. But….. That last spell in the premier we must have had consistently one of the poorest records for scoring from corners seaso after season, barely remember 1.
