You lot have a lot of problems. First time I have watched you play except against us, derby games are never a good indication anyhow. It was like watching us..slow ponderous build up and no creativity and panic stations at the back. If Remy goes somewhere in the summer you'd better hope the Fat man spends cos that team are relegation bound
 
Does the north east have a well run football club?

Also very similar to Bruce's last full season here with results nosediving once they sold their best player.

Looking at their squad, they need to spend quite a bit of money in the summer if they don't want to be involved in the relegation scrap next season.

If somebody had offered yas 9th with 3 games left surely yas would have taken it mind? Problem yas have had is it's gone from the sublime to the ridiculous rather just just steady progress.Having cabaye sold in jan and not replaced was criminal and certainly not Pardews fault.
 
Ashley likes the money and Pardew is his puppet. Don't want to get into Europe as it cocks up the league form but still rake in (what is it ) £70m+ from TV money, guarantee'd 50 ish 000 every home game. Sell a player or two and make a few more million more. Ashley has got Pardew exactly where he wants him. Probably as safe a manager in the league.
 
didn't they target 10th at the start of the season and put rewards in place? mission accomplished for Mike and he probably won't give a shit. he has demonstrated that he's not bothered about the nufc image and whilst the prem money continues to roll in he will be happy.

can't see pardew getting the boot until around Jan next season where, without some serious striker investment, they will be in trouble.
 
He's not getting sacked. No other manager would accept the constraints Ashley has put on him and the club.
 
He's a whipping boy and Ashley's puppet.
Brief is to keep them up and he will keep doing that.
They won't be as high next season but should be above whoever is 17th this season, and ahead of Burnley and play off winners.
