Wickham or borini?

Borini, by a distance as well.

Wickham is getting better though.
This for me too, think back to Borini's finishing, any angle and he was rarely off target, Wickham tends to leather everything, but like you say there's definitely improvement in him.

he is though

wickham is poor

Wickham's goalscoring record in PL games since the start of last season is better than Borini's, even including his boatload of penalties.
Wickham is bigger, stronger, faster, a better ball-carrier, 2 years younger, and is already ours. Plus, he actually wants to be here.
He had a frustrating game against Newcastle (he has a few to be fair), but he is growing into the position (although it's certainly not his best position) and will get better with age. There is no point in spending however many millions on somebody who doesn't want to be here, is no better than what we have, and who's overwhelming main threat has been replaced Jordi Gomez from the penalty spot.

A lot of that is wrong

Borini is the better option on the left than CW in the system we play. If we could sign Borini in Jan, CW would be good cover for Fletcher through the middle.
