Lescott has been playing really well lately I'd say him. Like to see him get a chance for England.
Think i'd agree with you there. Him or Michael Turner.
Lescott and King
On pure ability, Phil Jones would have to be up there.
We'll see how he copes after his injury, and whether he can nail down a regular cb place.
Ledley King, by a country mile.
Anyone but Rio or Terry
him and Dawson for England
Lescott or Smalling.
Right at this moment? - Michael Dawson
Over the season: King, Lescott and Jagielka
We should really be writing off the next year or two internationally and concentrating on establishing Cahill, Jones and Smalling as our first choice centre halves.
It'll still be Terry and Ferdinand the media will howl for though.....
King, Dawson, Smalling in that order
Not convinced about Jones at centre half actually. Ba tore him a new one at Sid james and hes had a couple of shakey games there. Hes got great talent but not convinced about his positional sense and strength just yet....
for me its King, Lescott and jageilka - in that order right now but King is highly unlikely to be fit enough to play regualrly for Spurs and england.
public opinion would suggest the terry/Rio problem would be very easy to resolve.
bin the f*ckers
Rio when fit. Closely followed by king, when fit. Which kind of leaves a problem really.
Terry is probably next best, although I want to hurt myself for even suggesting it.
Phil jones is a country mile away defensively at the minute.
Should be groomed as a true DM. Got all the requisite skills for it, is early enough to learn and there isn't a single English player in the top flight who is a proper DM despite it being recognised as a vital position for decades elsewhere.
