Is he injured again or out of favour again?
He picked up a knock in training, but not sure how bad it was
Think he could do well on Saturday as part of the squad..his type of game.
Against a crap team, you mean?
looking for the ball after his first touch.
Really shouldn't but
I think he's been very poor after his electric start.
Whether that is because he set the bar so high with his performance agaisnt Norwich i don't know, but since then he's been pretty gash!
Start with Wickham, all day long!
never been in favour with me
hes quick and gets the odd goal but cant see what else he offers
Ha'way, man - he was out for ages. Give him time.
Massively overrated because he's a good lad and mixes with the fans.
A big pre-season for him.
Really hope he makes it here but I have my doubts.
Will be interesting to see whether campbell & wickham can make a decent fist of next season with a preseason under their belts, could be a decent partnership there.
Have to be honest I'm not absolutely convinced about the lad either- having said that he's just back from his injury and hasnt been able to get a prolonged run in the side but for me he's never offered enough up front to be starting every game (nowadays a 4-4-2 is a bit risky- its worth doing if you have 2 top class strikers but for me we're better with one up top and Sess in behind, Campbell cant play that role imo) and I'm not convinced with his occasional spells on the right.
Definitely worth keeping at the club as you need a squad and at least he can provide a bit of pace and effort off the bench and can cover a few positions (he can go up top, he could play in behind and he can go on the right), but I've never been convinced that he can become a mainstay in the starting lineup like
Same here, he seems like a nice guy and I'm happy that he's come back from such a long time out with injury, but he's not really good enough to be playing as much as he has been. It'll be interesting to see whether he can kick on next year, but I can see him going and being the best centre forward in the Championship to be honest, he'd bang them in for a team in that league.
He's just become a father, that coupled with injury might mean he has been rested for a while to make sure he isn't burnt out and a liability on the pitch
Pleased for the lad obviously but FFS how the hell did he make the England squad?
He's in the clink in Florida.
Fraizer Campbell arrested in Florida.
Bacause of how he had performed in many games for Pearce in the U-21s.
Because Stuart Pearce is an idiot.
Don't mention the kid, toosb is having all of our players sterilised.
