Personally get sick of putting email address in, name, address etc.
People adding an unnecessary C between I & T
When things just decide they dont want to fucking work.
We've got a wireless printer which all of a sudden decided it didnt want to connect to our network and nothing I've tried will get it to work.
Ive got exactly the same problem, just got this kodak one and it just doesn't want to connect to any of the laptops
? Is IT the same as ICT now?
The acronym ICT only exists in the UK education & public sectors.
The industry refers to itself as the IT Industry
I shall remember that.
The fact that Ctrl+F doesn't exist in real life.
Thinking about it I'm not even sure when the ICT acronym started to come into regular use. I've spent 19 years in the IT industry working in the private sector, public sector& as a part time lecturer & can't even remember hearing it until about 5 years ago.
What the hell is ICT?
Information and Communications Technology.
Ah, so the industry I work in then.
Yeah. I only refer to it as ICT because I've had it drilled into my head for 5 years of school and 2 years of college.
It's funny, when I read the thread title I thought "It's a while since I've heard someone mention ICT". After I read your first comment I remembered it was when I was at school. I'm 22, so that would've been 5/6 years ago.
