Just wondering, with Benidorm and the like not going down very well!
Peep Show is all right, but wearing a bit thin.
Other than that, I can't think of a funny series...
Older programmes, and that's a bit strange as i always expected comedy to keep pushing boundries forward, it hasn't for quite a while now.
Anything featuring Conservatives or Middle-Class people.
Bolton 5 Newcastle 1, Blackadder, Peepshow, Only Fools, Fawlty Towers, Lead Balloon, Extras, The Office, Mock the Week, Have I Got News for You, Buzzcocks, Alan Pardew as the New Messiah.
Pushing boundaries means doing things that some people won't find funny.
So channels think.. "fuck that hard, just put Michael Macintyre on again".
Strange that, they seem to laugh at poor people too.
Why?Morecombe and Wise pushed the boundries, the Two Ronnies pushed boundries,Only Fools and Horses pushed boundries.
They used spin on words, ordinary situations and pushed them to the boundries, focal points etc, played on stereotypes. ie total comedy.
They didn't put themselves down one road.
Yes, but we poor people have the moral high-ground.
Morality is defined by poverty, interesting......
Was it ever in doubt?
I think it even says as much in the Bible... "blessed are the meek for they will inherit the Earth" I believe it goes?
But you don't believe in God or the bible, why are you using it and using it out of context at that.
Then surely they would be wealthy ones, and no longer have the moral high ground ?

Agreed, it shouldn't be that way.
I think Channel 4 were trying to do something a bit risky recently, but as they're a bit thick they ended up giving Frankie Boyle his own show.
I used to quit like him on Mock the Week, shocking show that is.
Seasons Greetings by the way
To you too big fella. Hope there's plenty of snow out there.
I think he only looked good on Mock The Week as it's heavily edited and he was surrounded by unfunny *****.
Well, Bongo, I can't say I'm surprised you don't get it.
Not exactly Mr. Highbrow, are you?
A distinct lack of it, I will come back when it thaws
