Pre-season is very important and I think our poor starts lately have been down to this alone as the squad has shown what it can do later in the season.
We haven't had enough pre-season friendlies against the right opposition.
It's no good playing against better teams and getting beat like the China Cup.
You need opposition that gives you a good run out and allows your strikers to get a hatful.

international breaks are a painWord on here is that Rodwell is going to be "Ya-ya like" once he's had a full pre-season.
It's gonna take a lot more than 6 fookin weeks to put any life into that donkey
