In labour? That ship has sailed I'm afraidHave faith.
If you believe the current political paradigm is the only model available, you will despair. Things are changing mate, Ah can feel it in me watter. The neo-liberal Westminster Bubble is on borrowed time. It's not sustainable. Give it 20 years absolute max.In labour? That ship has sailed I'm afraid
20 years, blimey, I want to be living life like the jetsons by then, not thinking about Corbyn hanging onto the labour leadership as he's nudging 90, no doubt the beast of bolsover will still be there shouting randomly like a political father jackIf you believe the current political paradigm is the only model available, you will despair. Er not exactly, mate. You're missing my point. JC will play his part but consider, if you will, HOW he came to Office? It's the groundswell of changed (democratic) imperative that is a vanguard of socio-political change. Nothing stays the same. Ever.20 years, blimey, I want to be living life like the jetsons by then, not thinking about Corbyn hanging onto the labour leadership as he's nudging 90, no doubt the beast of bolsover will still be there shouting randomly like a political father jack
Haha corbyns rise is hardly the beginning of a groundswell that will sweep all before it like some modern day political revolution to take us into a brave new worldEr not exactly, mate. and then left us without a pot to piss in, even a thick twat like myself can work it out itAlthough they ran the most successful govt in generations in the 90s and 2000s. The tories would die for the success Labour had with the economy and the is country
Long may this continue, the bitterness in which they are laying into each other suggests that the wounds they are opening up are unlikely to be healed any time soon.....Early election on the cards imho. Sorry the link is from twatbook, cant find the film anywhere else.
Embarrassed for you tbh. You would slag him off if he got involved in the campaign too....What on earth could he say that adds more to the debate than
Cameron "if we leave it will cause world war 3"
and
Boris "if we stay then Germany has achieved Nazi's aims"
You think Corbyn should get involved in this pathetic campaign?
More likely to be living like the Flintstones if the Tories and the Red Tories have their way.20 years, blimey, I want to be living life like the jetsons by then
It is with that farce of a Labour leader
You haven't fallen for that propaganda, have you? Banker Roulette and the reccession caused that, Gideon's spending is actually greater than Brown's spending. I'll dig out the Treasury figures, if you want. The national debt is now greater than when Osbourne took charge. The only difference is that the Mail gets to call it Austerity, rather than a reckless overspend.and then left us without a pot to piss in, even a thick twat like myself can work it out it
wasn't a complete success.

So you think it would be ill advised to set out in a calm manner the advantages to Britain and Labour supporters why we should remain in Europe?
It's the perfect opportunity to come across to the voters as a sensible pragmatic politician. Set out his reservations (which everyone must have) and then give the punters all the reasons why we must stay in.
He has, made numerous speeches and the battle bus is doing the nationwide tour. The media seem to be more interested in the Tory big guns ripping each other to pieces though. For the first time Im over the moon that the Tory media are giving them their full attention.
Because he's missed every target he's set for himself and stifled growth in the early days of the coalition. The question is, why does Gideon have to borrow so much? The response would be to service the ridiculous amounts of benefits introduced by Labour, the increased interest repayable on PFI loans and so forth.
At least the Tories have cut the link between Social Housing rents and Private sector rents, which will reduce housing benefits which doubled under the previous brilliant idea of increasing Social housing rates to match Private sector rents, but without having the wit or intelligence to find a way to cap Private sector rents first! Social sector rents have fallen by 1% this year and will continue to fall in the future with further reductions over the next couple of years. This measure alone will reduce the Housing Benefit bill.

As for welfare spending, unsurprisingly it goes up after the crash but has been fairly consistent:

The percentage increases were actually fairly low under Labour, largely because of the internet boom and strong economy.

The Tories have also changed the definition of affordable housing so that it now means 80% of market rates. No more affordable housing!
