I'm going with 42 minutes
Against Fulham? Nah, 23 minutes on the dot. We're going to take the midfield with the side we'll have to play so he's bound to kick someone up a height early on.
Controversially I'll say he will go yellow free
Fulham currently leading the Fair Play League so don't expect any meaty challenges from there lads,Cattermole may even go a full 90 without a card!!!
This, I have faith in the lad.
Time of his yellow - 44mins (for his 3rd or 4th bone crunching and unnecessary tackle in a totally harmless area of the pitch).
Time of first thread on here claiming he was only booked 'because he is Lee Cattermole', 'terrible refereeing' and that football is now 'becoming a non-contact sport' etc etc - 3.45pm.
Cattermole clatters Senderos and extends his period on the sidelines spoiling his long awaited return but picks up a straight red in the process after 18 minutes reducing the Black Cats to 10 fit men before youngster Billy Knott slides in two swift goals to set the football world on fire with his potential talent.
Any prediction yet from The Auld Ukranian Hag, Clem?
I'm going for a b0-0re draw!
Tremendous rump, btw!
Do you think he has been fairly treated by the refs this season mate? None of them yellows dubious ye reckon?
Earlier on in the season i would have agreed with you mate, but the last couple of yellows he's had I've seen the ref have a word with him a couple of times and then book him after he's still acting a prat. The lad is thick as mince.
I had 33mins for Welbeck to go off injured last week.
39 minutes. Stupid, late tackle in a completely harmless area of the pitch and no doubt he'll still have the audacity to have a go at the referee.
Last week's wasn't a yellow but aside from that I'm struggling to think of dubious decisions against him; if anything he's been well treated by the refs this season.
Handball on the line against Stoke, dive against Blackburn and that tackle on Modric could have easily been punished but weren't.
And before anyone one says it I don't think the Modric tackle was bad at all but a weaker referee, with the home crowd on his back and Modric rolling around like the puffter he is could have easily sent him off.
28 mins but totally undeserved, the ref's blind, he took the ball first.
(insert as appropriate)
Id go with 2.56pm as the players line up in the tunnel.
Normally the case
Of course he has had a few dubious yellows, the one against Wigan especially which looked like a great tackle, but he really does bring a lot of it on himself. I don't buy this idea that 'if that was anyone else he wouldn't have been booked'.
Against Wigan he made 2 or 3 borderline tackles before that yellow came, so was he lucky to not get booked for them or unlucky that it came for what was actually a good tackle?
I like Cattermole and think we need someone like him in our team. I love the drive and determination he brings, but the other side of that is that he will naturally get booked a lot.
he must be nearly on 10 bookings yes?
13 minutes, 'ref trying to stamp his authority on the game in the opening minutes' or whatever they say on fifa
I think you are still pissed.
