No doubt Ellis is the "strong, silent type" but there's a wave of apathy overtaking the club currently. Things aren't getting any better and the manager continues to make excuses yet we seem to have stopped really caring about it. The odd boo.....a few rants on here but nowhere near as bad as they were. Apathy is worse than anger because once people drift away and start doing other things on match days they are very hard to win back. I know loads of lads who held season tickets for years up till the 15 point relegation season, didn't renew subsequently and hardly go over now. They still love the club but got out of the habit of going. As it stands (without cheap tickets) we are heading towards low 30k crowds. We need some direction from Short.......either back the current manager, tell us why you won't/can't or give someone else the job.
