Will be interesting to see if we play our full side against both Blackburn and QPR now. Thoughts?
Yes, we need momentum and it's best to get that by playing a full strength side in both games.
Get Sess back in v QPR, we need him match fit and sharp in the replay.
This. Just look at Everton and Moyes for the opposite effect.
Players will get tired though...a lot of matches around now. It's going to be 4 games in 11 days.
I'd give bring Vaughan and maybe Wickham in for the game against Blackburn.
we have an outside chance of catching the Mags and finishing 6th, wy would we field a weakened team, and why would you expect MON to?
This, or it'll be another West Brom imo
I think MON will rotate Sess, Campbell and Bendtner in the next 3 games anyway
Cattermole could return for the Everton game, its a good dilemma to have TBH given the amount of games coming up.
Everton beat Spurs last week so it was a good result today.
Do Everton have 2 games between now and the replay too?
Strongest and best side available everytime, its the only way to be
I thuink I would make a canny few changes for the Blackburn game with the likes of Meyler, Vaughan, Wickham maybe Kyriagos (sp) playing. Think about QPR after that.
Arsenal then Swansea away, so they'll be doing alot of chasing after the ball
Home to Arsenal and away to Swansea.
play wickham against Blackburn?? No chance, keep Bentnder and Campbell up front, they are much more of a threat, any probs with them and Sess is back for the QPR game.
we can't afford to take the Blackburn game lightly otherwise we will get turned over simple as that
Cheers. 2 tough games, good.
This. Then Sess and colback for Wickam and Meyler, With Catts for colback against Everton with Richardson hopefully back as well.
I was more thinking of playing Campbell on the right wing and giving Larsson a rest. It wouldn't be a weakened team as such, Larsson has been poor enough in the last 2 games.
And Vaughan for Gardner.
Definitely wouldn't change any of the backlines, people like O'Shea and Turner don't have to be rested, they don't have to run as much anyway.
We know MoN won't tinker much, it's not his style.
I have full faith in him.
We can just play the same team for all games but i'm pretty sure Everton wont and when it comes to the 4th game in 10 days it will give them an advantage. I agree it could be costly against Blackburn, we could lose that game anyway. Risk worth taking and if our league forms tails off a bit its not the end of the world.
I think Vaughan and possibly Richardson should get a run out.
Am I missing something? Sess still has a game left to miss doesn't he? 3 game ban for violent conduct.
