If we can raise a grand for some banner, 2500 for flowers then I honestly can't understand why we can't raise this target for a bloke, riding on his own, with only a f**k off great Sunderland flag for company.

LETS SMASH HIS TARGET SMB STYLE!!!!!

Jesus his arse is going to be sore after that!

Sad if true.

Just my opinion mate but, as soonas the national media got hold of the Malaysian disaster (which was an fantastic gesture by the lad who started the fund btw), people seemed to be falling over themselves to show how we can put rivalry aside and display what great people we are.
As this has had next to no publicity, it's garnered nowhere near as much interest, despite hopefully helping to change a poor little girl's life a bit.
The fact is, those two poor sods couldn't be helped, this young un can be.

A cynical view, yes but I can't think of any other reason.

Good luck fella.

People have shared the link on SAFC's twitter and facebook. Some have emailed the club asking if they will match what the fans have raised. Some have even tweeted the players! But no response as of yet.

I think everyone who is on twitter should just troll the players constantly with the link!

@Dilligaf60
I did start a a fresh page with the link and title had "Donations needed" in it. Not sure where its gone. but will start another one!
Top man. I was toying with the idea of setting one away myself but it didn't seem right after you made the original post. There's some strange things happening with posts getting deleted, also the mods for some reason seem reluctant to make it sticky. It would be good if they merged these two threads to keep all this in the same place. It's a shame really that this lads efforts haven't received the response I thought they would, but there's a bit of time left yet.

I don't mind. If anyone knows how to make it a sticky or knows a better way of doing things, please let them crack on! We can raise money for a plane and flowers but not for this sick little girl! Mind boggling!

Hopefully we can change that!

New thread done and hopefully it stands out and doesn't get deleted! Lets troll the players and the club on twitter with the link and get some attention!
Im not on Facebook or Twitter, so the best I can do is keep bumping it on here to make sure it stays on the front page. I honestly thought we'd have beaten the target easily by now, considering what we've done before. Maybe it's as @Father Jack Hackett says, it's not all over the media? If that's the case then it's still do able but maybe will just take longer. Meantime our lass is busy spreading the word on her Facebook.

Im not on twitter but have an old facebook account. I will send a message to as many Sunderland and SAFC accounts as I can for them to post it. As for twitter, I hate it but will ask my mates to spread the word!

I emailed the club at the weekend. They are aware of Enrico mission and have liase with him about it. I believe they are donating shirts/memorabilia for auction and will be mentioning him at the home game that he will be attending.
Asked if they could match the money he raises and present him with a cheque on the pitch at half time but I don't think that will happen.

Donated. Follow his stuff on Facebook and he puts other massive lads fans to shame with his dedication to the club and to little Nina. Enrico is a good luck charm too as last visit we beat Stoke 3-1.
