Sorry if SEB
error please try again
Fixed I hope
To be fair you'd even get sent off in rugby for a challenge like that.
True. Needed doing though with the stewards just standing around watching.
Aye that's true.
Referees - what a bunch of cunts. I see common sense prevailed again...
Yeah. If anything he's helped the ref out.
he looks like he was ready to chin the ref when he pulls that red card out
No he doesnt
should be able to get it overturned
are players and officials not advised to stay 'neutral' and not get involved for fear of upsetting fans?
(although i would have thought a common sense decision would have done)
No he doesnt, he just stands there with his hands on his head
Just read another article on it, he was the player manager!!
The other team offered to take a player off to even the teams up as they thought it was such a stupid decision but the ref wouldnt let him.
Apparently the ref completely lost control and sent off 2 more from the same team so they finished with 8!!
That ref should never be allowed to ref a match again IMHO.
It shows a complete lack of common sense.
bit aggressive like.
Again common sense, the Ref should be reprimanded for this, the player rugby tacked him....WOULD HAVE BEEN A DIFFERENT STORY IF THE STREAKER RAN UP AND HIT THE REF AND THE PLAYERS STOOD AND WATCHED!!
A player is guilty of violent conduct if he uses excessive force or brutality
against an opponent when not challenging for the ball.
He is also guilty of violent conduct if he uses excessive force or brutality against a team-mate, spectator, match official or any other person.
Violent conduct may occur either on the field of play or outside its boundaries, whether the ball is in play or not.
A player, substitute or substituted player who is guilty of violent conduct must be sent off.
Didn't know this. As someone has already posted it does count as violent conduct but come on. Just illustrates how little common sense is applied in the game today.
totally ridiculous that like
Separate names with a comma.
