For the first time in ages, I left before the final whistle yesterday, started off on 90 mins and went straight out at the North Stand (i.e. didn't do the long walk round to the SE corner). No queues from my seat to the concource - usually takes 5-10mins No queues from Sizzlers to the metro station - usually takes another 10mins to walk that bit No traffic from where I park all the way home Its amazing how much of a difference it actually made & I now realise why people do it. It knocked about 30 mins off the normal amount of time it takes. Despite this, I still won't leave early if we've got any chance of getting something from the game (i.e. 1 goal down, level or winning) - those injury time winners/equalisers are possibly the best moments in football.
