IMO at least you can't claim everything should be transparent and the other party shouldn't be allowed the use of agents paying out when you use one in subterfuge to get your own way but pay your own way, thats exactly what the other side are doing albeit in a more sinister way, granted their will be some agents who have a proclivity to underhand tactics but until the whole system is properly regulated and leading a call for mre clarity, perhaps not use one yourself for purely monetary aims, while not illegal its still as immoral.

At the end of the day you are still using money to get your own way using a third party.
