No. I understood. Let me rephrase. If someone who smokes isn't bright then what are they? Do we not take the rest of their actions and deeds into consideration when assessing their brightness? Compare and contrast with the thick as a post pub twat who is a non somker.

I'd actually quite happily go along with any ban tbh. But only if the government made up for lost tax by increasing the price of petrol/diesel. This may encourage selfish bastards from making unnecessary journeys and make them think about using public transport rather than killing the earth.C'mon!

Why don't we ban alcohol, sugar, salt, fat and millions of other things that aren't good for you aswell?
It's nothing to do with intelligence though is it? Nicotine is a very addictive drug, and if you haven't been under it's influence maybe you don't understand?
