Their take on it..
Meh, still no quotes.
£20 million + N'gog is too good to turn down :/
I remember a few seasons ago we were in talks to sign Tyrone Mears... according to Sky Sports take on things..
25m without N'gog would be better imo
The bloke Courtney on Talksport (north east correspondent) just said as he understands if the money is right Henderson can go. nout new
But he said that at the moment the offer is around £13 - £14m
We want £20m.
i heard, fuck that
Safe to say that it won't be hapenning for £14m
Sky Sports are a fucking joke like, this story has been running for decades (well it feels like it) and theyve just jumped on the bandwagon now
Neebody knarrs nowt. Thats the one clear thing in all of this...everyone is picking up scraps...
Hope we really push them hard on the price, not really any need to sell so early in the window as far as I can see - we could just hold out for a few weeks. If they really want him now presumably they will still want him then and we could possibly force their hand a bit more the longer the summer goes on.
Looking to exchange players....
Take Aquilani from them, he's proved his fitness now at Juventus!
I reckon he will stay.
Its a good bit of business money wise but Id rather keep the lad as he's plenty of time to develop further etc
I would usually think that with that money can we invest and get the required replacements and bring in the players etc but currently I dont see it, id have said N'Zogbia but dont see that happening as theres not been much links since end of season and really SAFC should have been trying to sort the transfer out than selling one of best products for years and a first team player
I also think on another note yes Bent left etc and if Henderson left we look more a selling club for potential players considering signing etc, if you keep your better players for example players want to join the ranks etc if you show your selling your better players then shows a negative club attitude, common sense really..
Maybe im wrong but any playing signing for a club looks at the players who they potentially could be playing with, by losing a young up and coming player who is valued so ighly i.e. 18million etc shows the club to sell its best players etc
everyone is a selling club
We seem to get held to ransom every fucking season so why dont we do the same.
we have so far like
Why would we even talk to someone who is offering £7m below our valuation. Tell them to fuck off and don't come back until they want to get serious
Why not, we're not under any pressure to sell immediately, the lad's got 4 years on his contract iirc.
Probably he will go eventually, however we are in a decent position to extract the maximum amount from the buying club from what I can see. Possibly other clubs may come into the reckoning the longer it goes on for.
