No. There are already 3 Rolls Royce facilities on Wearside. Pallion, Pre-Prod (by the Wessington) and UK Discs (Washington.)
So no announcement then?

No great detail at the minute. It's just a follow on from the announcement that senior management will be hit with job losses.
This will be a worldwide restructure and any affect on Wearside will be minimal if at all.

Don't know mate. There was an announcement a few weeks ago and all it said was senior management would be affected. Again, this is worldwide.
Eventually, it'll close. When, is anyone's guess at the minute. I think the whole project is a good 2 years behind plan already.
Hopefully at least 2 years.
