aye, there was a short lass with jet black hair that worked there - great attitude, sexy as owt. I was a DJ at the time and got special prices and the odd freebie off her.
In fact, I've her to thank for the 7'' picture disc of Relax that I have
I have fond early teenage memories of a certain exhibitionist girl in that shop.
Went in there as a young 'un to buy the new Ice Cube album (Death Certificate), decided to have a look downstairs, as I was walking down I saw a coin (think it was a pund or a ten bob bit) on one of the stairs, couldn't pick the fucker up, it took a good few tugs for me to realise it was glued, cue the laughter from the tills to my left..
Saville's in King Street where I bought my first single Shazam! by Duane Eddy.
Underground Records, opposite Littlewoods side entrance.
Savilles I forgot that one!
The shop next to where the army surplus store was, a few doors off what was the Old-29 pub. Daddyo knows it's name but I've forgotten.

Then in Derwent or Olive street, i get them mixed up.
