Post a pic of your axe

Here's a pic from last week's gig....
Couple of vintage and fret King guitars who endorse our guitarist, and two fender jazz bass in the corner, and my drums...but none of you care about those right..

Also here's my dads band 3 buck shirt who I do some work with from time to time....he's using the '63 Precision, the Strat is a Stevie Ray Vaughan custom workshop signature job...

Finally if anyone's in Kent on February 13th I'm gigging with Dave 'Bucket' Colwell who used to be in Bad Company at the Red Lion in Gravesend...

Good guitar player...use of octaves, a bit of scat and excellent jazzy comping.

I had to check who he was but I've got the live DVD with him on it.

So has @Big Duke Six anarl I imagine.

In other news, I've decided I need a J-45.
Good axeman is Dave.

Pass my regards on to 'The Bucket' please mate.

Much better lead guitarist than Mick Ralphs.
I've got to be honest, I'm having a music lesson at the moment...
I joined the blues rock band I'm in at the moment back in September and we're covering a few Bad Company and free tracks....so naturally I'm going through their back catalogues, and fuck me some of their stuff's brilliant, I'm a new fan.... I'd never heard of Bucket before, but the more people I speak to, including my old man who's ex Mungo Jerry say he's a great guitarist...looking forward to this gig!

Top two beautiful, although I love trapeziodal mother-of-pearl fret markers as opposed to little dots. The white one I do not understand. Why only put one pickup on a guitar? Surely it wastes so many tonal opportunities and reduces the guitar's versatility 50%. I can never understand why any manufacturer would do this, unless to create a super-cheap entry-level model, which is not the market I imagine HS operates in.

No doubt there is some completely rational explanation like tonal purity, specialist tone or something.......
