Parking at ponteland airport

dropping daughter off on Sunday for a school trip away
Parking is about £6 to wait with her for a couple of hours
It's a complete,racket and smacks of extortion
I thought the councils or government were going to sort out
Anyway what's the best alternative drop her and mother at the airport and drive to callerton parkway where parkings free and get metro back
Or will work out costing me more
The whole situati N with airports is extortion as no matter how you want to,get there you have to,pay
Drive, metro, taxi

School missed a trick not putting a bus on to airport surely, Parents wave kids off at school then pop back home for a bit of afternoon delight :D:cool:

Eh? So because travel to airports isn't free it's extortion?

I can't get to the supermarket for free. It's f***ing extortion I tell ya!

Assuming you mean park at the supermarket for free
At Most supermarkets you can park outside on the roadside and walk in
 
Scored myself free parking at the airport for 3.5 days in May earlier this week.

Parked for free for 17 or so days last yr as well.

Just got to play the system. ;)
 
You could drop them off at the medium term car park which is still free for 15 mins. Drive to and park at the garden centre down the road and walk back to the airport 10 minutes probably.

So no, I can't drive to a supermarket for free.

Doubt it would work for such a short stay mate.

they'll refund your parking if you find cheaper elsewhere within 24 he's of booking.
You make sure you find cheaper before booking, then book with them (paying cancellation insurance as safety net) & immediately put claim in that you've found cheaper elsewhere.
