What a set of c unts, still no fucking 3g signal thought its supposed to make it better,
Im having the same problem here in SR4
It's working out well for me, never been able to make a call in the house on just T Mobile and had 4 bars all day with the orange connection.
i had shit 3g with orange, then al;l of a sudden sunday i had nothing, then then i get 2g and when i rung to complain there like well just leave it on 2g for a week or two
how about fuck off, sort of defeats the point in me iphone and paying you c unts 45 a month
You sure you're not just holding it wrong?
My brother works on retentions and told me today that his management are telling them to tell the customers to switch to 2g for the time being.
Customers are ringing them with complaints because the lines are jammed.
i'm on Orange and it's been normal service (normal poor service). Whats gan on like?
just signed up, haven't noticed a difference so far but i have signal in my house.
Network share only meant for 2G. Don't recall either brand's comms saying anything different
never meant to be 3g this year. Most employees have had this for at least a few weeks and it's working quite well overall
Mine is spot on down in York, sorry that's not much help for you
you need to sign up for the roaming to be effective
So would that be the iPhone that is predominantly a phone? That will still allow you to phome and text on the 2g network? I dont understand why you were told to leave it on 2g as that will affect you in other places. Unfortunately problems occur on mobile networks, as with others (see BT, virgin media) but with it being a mobile network it is nigh on impossible to reroute affected traffic.
The 3G roaming service won't be available until next year, for the moment you can only roam between Orange and T-Mobile on 2G.
I've been having trouble sending/receiving text and calls over the last 2 days on Orange. Apparently the 3G network has been poor in the region this week. And I was told that a 3G phone will always go for a 3G reception over 2G if its available no matter how weak! I've switched back to 2G only in my settings for a couple of days and everything seems ok again.
Cheers for the info on this..signed up for it now. Anyone know if this solves the internet connection issues in the SoL?
Not sure but I switched from 3G to 2G in the ground on Saturday as the text I was trying to send kept failing on 3G, and it sent straight away on 2G.
problem is to connect to the internet, 3G is pretty much essential on my phone!
Tbh, I've always struggled to connect to the internet in the ground, although I have been using a Sony Ericsson W595 which isn't famed for it's browset in fairness.
last i heard some pikeys nicked the batteries out of the transmitter at peterlee ???????????
thought it was all to do with the merging of orange/t-mobile into "everything, everywhere?"
