Looking for a new compact after our Canon S95 was stolen on holiday a few weeks ago. The insurance cheque has come through so we're looking to buy soon. Budget is approx £250. I'm tempted to buy another s95 as although we didn't take advantage of that my advanced features it took a nice photo. However it's almost 2 years old and possibly we should be looking for something a bit newer. The S100 and Sony NEX series are out of our reach. So I've been looking at the Canon sx260hs. Has anyone got this camera and why do thy think of it? I'm aware the sensor in the sx is not as good as the S95 so low light shots may not be as good but it should make up for it in other areas. They both appear to be roughly the same price on Amazon.
