Watmore brilliant and caused problems throughout his time but for me It's M'Villa simply brilliant

For me it has to be a tie between pants and Watmore. One secured the points and a real handful, the other kept us in the game with a great stop against Walters.
Had that gone in we would have had an uphill battle to take anything from the game and we've seen how difficult it is to recover all too often.
Can't really give Pants Motm obviously as some better performances on the field but for me that save give us the belief and settled us down prior to them losing Shawcross. Watmore really shows that he enjoys his time on the field and the enjoyment is shared watching. Terrific prospect.

This. However well the others played - and I agree Pants' save was crucial - it was Watmore's introduction that changed the entire outlook of the game. Every time we went forwards, the question on minds was - where's Watmore?

M'Villa - just class
PvA - Seems to "get" the wingback position, dont think Ive ever seen a team so happy for one player to score, hes obviously having a bad time
Fletcher - Hard work allowed all of the above to happen
Kaboul - Finally starting to look like we've got a a centre half. Cleaned up everything, moved forward when needed.
