Whilst I like Malt I prefer Bourbon these days....just find it easier to quaff.

Amazon have Woodford Reserve on offer for 21.99 at the minute (usually 30 quid in Asda when full price) which is well worth it.

I've never actually had them mate, but the reviews I've read have been canny. The only downside to one I was looking at (think it was the 28 yo) was that it was only 40% and chill-filtered.

Depends what mood I'm in anything from a dram to half a bottle if I'm goin for it, if it has a good nose sometimes I'll spend more time nosing it than drinking it

How many do you drink at a time, how much do you pour?

Whisky is something I've always liked the idea of being clued up about but rarely drink it.

Some exceptionally good deals on Whisky in Morrisons at the moment. Ardbeg which is one of my favourites down from £46 to £35. Talisker Skye which is a nice everyday dram down from £38 to £25 and plenty more reduced. Well worth a look for the whisky drinkers.

Ooooh, the Talisker has got me interested.

talisker i really can't get on with and i like the peatier whiskys. just tastes like a bad blend to me.

Great whisky for a new starter here mate - you'll have to hurry though as it's a prime deal.

Dragon in law has bought me Glendronach for chrimbo...
Wife nearly gave me a heart attack when she said I liked peaty ones when in fact she'd said Speyside to staff.

The words aren't that similar

if you get the chance try the kavalan solist sherry cask , doesn't get much better than this if you like your sherry finishes

no but it gets good reviews , just finished a bottle of Glenfarclas 15 thats a canny sherry monster and great bang for ya buck
