To me ball was a great servant to the club but he couldn’t have tied L.C boot laces. Ball seemed to be always chasing the game hence his rash/ very late challenges.

We turned up late so the food was sat waiting for us. Clay cauld. Beef was alright like. Welcome pint was a glass of watery flat piss anarl.

Could do worse than to bring him into the coaching setup like (not head coach.) Would have a lot to offer.

He must be doing his badges cos he talked about the courses he’s been in. He made an interesting observation that they don’t cover football psychology enough and how top footballers are usually those with the mental edge not the physical edge which I completely agree with.

No way anyone can make that claim, he might be a f***ing terrible coach.

I really don't get the obsession over ex-players being great coaches or managers. How good they were as players and captains makes absolutely zero difference

Bally was a relatively terrible footballer but had a grit and determination unmatched by many. Cattermole was better at everything during his career except maybe heading the ball
