Which is the better place to visit?
Krakow without a doubt.
Warsaw bland and concrete...
I thought Warsaw was cracking.
I really enjoyed Warsaw but it's a bit like asking would you rather visit York or Birmingham. Krakow without a doubt for most tourists unless like me you have a concrete eastern european fetish then Warsaw also has it's charms.
Gdansk is another great city to visit btw, as are Wroclaw and Poznan. Poland is a much underrated country.
Warsaw, cos if its shit you can get a taxi to Birmingham.
Funny as fuck me like
Krakow but be carefull if your going in a group of lads the locals are not too recieving.
Always fancied going to Krakow for some reason, wouldn't mind going to the Krakow derby in the future
cheers everyone. I fancy going on a bit of a tour through eastern Europe, starting in Sofia then onto Bucharest then Budapest, then (probably thanks to your comments) Krakow, before heading to Riga and finally Tallin. Better get saving!
Make your own mind up mate they're Poles apart.
I went about 5 years ago for me brothers stag do. had nee bother, althought there was about 40 odd of us.
Nah but the bastards expect to come over here and be made welcome.
I agree. had a great time in Wroclaw... smallish centre but great fior a weekend..
Gdansk in the summer is tops.. stay in the holiday part of Sopot and alos take a trip round the coast to Gydinia
I loved Warsaw when I went there - mind you I'm well into WWII and all that so I was in my element looking round the uprising museum and the torture cells
uprising museum is the best museum ever by the way - FACT !!!!
if you go to prague then this church is well worth a visit for that type of stuff
covers the assaination of Reinhard Heydrich the Bohemina Nazi overlord....
I think there was a film made of it
Heads or Tales
