Anyone seen any deals?
I quite like the Iroko solid wood at Howdens
I buy them for work from here.
Cheapest I could find and when they are oiled up they look treemendous.
Pics are available!
I'm pleased that we will be destroying a rainforest somewhere like. Too many of them around
What do you oil them with? Polyx?
neither.. go for a composite these days
Silestone is about the only composite I would use. Corian is shite.
This is cheaper like.... Heard anything about this lot?
They aren't like. And why do you need 720mm deep?
My mishtake. I'm clearly looking at the wrong size. What is standard? 650mm?
Thank you btw, that looks very good.
I assume you have had no quality control issues with them?
Yes but you will probably want them trimming down to 600mm.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Never ever, ever get wooden worktops. granite or formica FTW. We've got them (were on the worktops when we moved in) and despite oiling, varnishing, caressing and almost loving, they are shit. U can't put owt wet on them (stains appear) and it's the same with hot pans (burns appear). u can't give them a really good chemical clean with flash or owt like that cos it fooks the wood over. Aye, they look mint all varnished and oiled up but totally impractical. Avoid.
Somebody would have to spoil it
How can I destroy the rain forest now?
Tek nee notice. We use them for furniture we put in poliss stations.
sorry mate! they piss me off royally as they are so fucking impractical. oh, and never drop owt on them whilst pissed like i did cos they dent anarl... lol. if u aint planning on doing much cooking, fill yer boots. i mean, u can't fuck up with rock, can u?
Yes ya can. Oil stains granite and has to be polished out.
Yeah, but even criminals don't have hot pans
I can recommend you the cheapest place in the north east if you want granite.
