I installed the Sky Guide app on my phone a few weeks ago. As well as being ace for the constellations, it alerts you to when the ISS is about to go over. Also tells you about the Iridium satellites and when they 'flare'.

Popped out and saw it. The big bright star in the west is Jupiter.
