with cleggs comments today how can they be in govenment together ?
Hypocracy and need.
they both like power too much to risk it.
listening on 5 live vince cable might be about to resign and questions being asked about cleggs leadership
bloody hell, I agree with Rex
but I can spell hypocrisy tho'
Who cares ?. It's a good job I'm fucking minted!
Theres more cracks showing than in a strip club.
Because the alternative is far worse?
Seriously though, Clegg needs to stick the boot in far more on the perfidious Tories, we have nothing to gain from them since they scuppered the AV vote. Just fuck them up a bit and leave the coalition in good time to recover for the next election.
Do you do original patter?
has to be, cant see a way back
If they leave, and trigger an election, then they will be decimated at the polls. Ed won't attract the vote back to labour and the Tories will end up with a 5 year mandate to do whatever they please. Wouldn't exactly be the best move they could make.
Its OK because he rang Dave before he went on telly and said...
"Hi Dave, Im about to slag you off on TV mate. I have to do it or my party will think im backing you and im a eurosceptic. I dont mean any of it, but its for the good of the Tory government, errrm i mean coalition. Cheers, Love you, laters".
i wasn't saying that if we had a snap election that labour would win it with ed milliband in charge it might be a differant story though with his brother david leader instead. if anything it might lead to an outright tory win, whether or not that would a good thing i'm not sure
good post mate
ed and the libs would get in, im not so sure that would be so great tbh
what planet are you on?
Near enough but sorted for you anyway rex.At least Robin Cook had the bottle and commitment to resign when things went against his principles and he was one in a million.Seems like politics has slipped even further away from that kind of integrity now
The next election would be pretty much straight away if that happened.
Can you imagine what will happen to Labour's poll ratings after Mr Ed takes part in the live televised debates?
It's fucked if one of them don't climb down. Clegg won't as to do so will be the final nail in the Lib Dem's coffin. Cameron might if his gamble fails - and it's looking likely that it will.
The coalition crumbling isn't good for anyone, cos Labour sure as fuck aren't in a position to step in as long as Sonya Jackson clings on.
